How Engaged Transformation got started
Akin Olutunla's our founder has a rich experience of 20+ years as an entrepreneur and director / IT Consultant. It was during his journey as a CEO of his own Consultancy firm Olutech Inc that Akin realized the need to help other young professionals in improving their skills and employability.
Through his experience and upbringing in multicultural environments in US and Nigeria, Akin was aware of the challenges facing entrepreneurs and young people and the help they needed to realize thier full potential. He believed that entrepreneurs and young professiionals are crucial for bringing about the needed socio-economic change in deprived communities. Therefore, Akin led and engaged with diverse social groups and NGOs affecting social transformation and development programs.

Working with stakeholders in the USA and Africa, Akin developed IT skills and training programs, free of cost, to those deserving better-paying jobs from all walks of life and this led to creation of Engaged Transformation. Over the last 3 years, over 100 professionals have received better-paying jobs through this initiative. Akin's vision is to build a growing movement of leaders and professionals who would help transform societies and people through programs, activities, education, and business enablement/transformation.
